A loan helped a member to buy 30 bags of charcoal to resupply her warehouse and cover transportation costs.

Busara Ii Group's story

Ms. Louise, age 64, is the president of Busara II Group and a client of Kiva's partner, the MFI Hekima. She's married and the mother of 3 children, who all study. She started selling charcoals six years ago with start-up money received from her husband, a public servant. Then Hekima followed.

She will use this loan to buy 30 bags of charcoal to resupply her warehouse and cover transportation costs. She ambitions to open a large warehouse in the main market of her city, in order to reach a large clientele.

She's satisfied with Hekima and its partner, who go to great lengths to financially support the have-nots.
