Maria studied until the 2nd grade in school. She is currently separated from her husband and has 1 son who is 16 years old.
Maria is a housewife and she has also been farming maize with her son for the last 3 years. She also sells pigs once in a while to generate more income for her well-being and that of her son.
The requested funds are necessary to pay the rent on a maize shredding machine, and also pay the workers. She is a single mother and with her profits she will get ahead with her son.
