A loan of $675 helped purchase of inventory for her makeup business.

Karim's story

Karim is 22 years old and single; her primary motivation is the well-being of her family. She has spent the past two years selling cosmetics, a career she always wanted to pursue. Before starting her own business she used to help a friend sell these products and with a little experience realized that this business could be very profitable due to the large number of orders that she received from family and friends. Karim decided to establish her own business with the goal of making a solid profit and investing it in a large variety of products, in addition to eventually establishing a makeup studio and store in her own home where she could offer these products. Nevertheless, to accomplish this goal, Karim spends every afternoon visiting various clients in their homes to show them new catalogues and cosmetics that she has in stock.

This is Karim's eighth loan with MFP and what she loves most about her loan group is the responsibility and dynamism with which they work. With this 2000-sole ($675) loan, she will buy more beauty products in order to take full advantage of the makeup catalogue's new offerings.
