Charles's story

Charles is married and blessed with three children. They all live in a four bedroom house in Mbengwi,in the North West Region of Cameroon. He has faced some challenges in life as sickness among family members and death, lack of capital and school dropout.
Charles was motivated to become a member of GHAPE by his friends who have been GHAPE members. He joined GHAPE in the year 2007 and he thinks his business will succeed because of a wonderful experience developed over time, all round demand for kernel mill products, and lots of customers.
With the new loan requested He will pay for more kernel, bags, drums and lots more. The activity will help the community because will be available palm oil and employment for youths. He has successfully borrowed and repaid loans eight times. The profit from this loan helps Charles pay for his children school fees and take care of his family needs.
He prefers a loan from GHAPE because it has a cheap interest rate.

This loan is special because:

It is coupled with multi-faceted trainings to support the poorest in Cameroon.
