A loan helped to buy fabric, needles, thread, lace, zipper, and other materials for her tailoring business.

Fe's story

At 58, Fe is a single micro-entrepreneur from Taytay, Rizal, Philippines. And because she doesn't have children, she is helping her nieces and nephews financially. She has a sewing business and she makes dresses, uniforms, curtains, slacks, and alterations. She started this business five years ago, and she sought financial help from CCT in partnership with Kiva.

For the expansion of her business, she would like to acquire a loan that will be used in buying fabric, needles, thread, lace, zipper, and other materials for her tailoring business. The amount to be borrowed will be a big help for her business and she is looking forward to seeing it years from now because of your help.

Fe is a member of the Center for Community Transformation and meets weekly with her fellowship partners to share her life’s testimony and business experience with her fellowship members. She also draws strength and inspiration from the fellowship and listening to the Word of God. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 20 members. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social relationship among partners, and pay Micro Finance loans.
