Elda's story

Sra. Elda belongs to the communal bank group "Azangarinas Valientes" which is located in the Azangaro district of Azangaro Province, Department of Puno. She is 42 years old, in a common law marriage, the mother of 5 children, and lives in the neighborhood of Vilcapaza Jr. Caminaca. She did not finish school beyond 1st grade.

She has with Manuela Ramos on 4 previous loan cycles. Her initial loan of 500 soles was used to buy vegetables.

Sra. Elda is now requesting a loan of 1500 soles to purchase carrots, squash, celery, lettuce, tomatoes and other vegetables to sell at her business.
