Tatyana's story

Tatyana lives together with her husband and two sons. She has worked with selling men's clothing in a small store at the local shopping center for eight years already. She mainly sells jackets, shirts, ties, pants and sweaters. The main marketing mechanisms of Tatyana's business are: Ongoing discounts, a friendly attitude towards each customer and providing an installment plan for those customers who are not able to purchase the goods cash.

Tatyana has taken a Kiva loan earlier. She thanks for the support her business has gotten. The previous Kiva loan helped Tatyana to expand her assortment of goods and get an additional income. This time, Tatyana requests a loan of 50,000 hryvnia in order to purchase men's pants, suits and jeans for the spring season. In addition to the funding requested from Kiva, she also plans to invest her own money.
