Tomasa's story

Tomasa is grateful for the business she has now because through her profit she successfully sent her two children to school to finish their studies. Now, her children are both working. Tomasa is now 45 years old and is engaged in selling grocery items in their village. Her husband is a farmer and at the same time, a carpenter. Tomasa has runs her sari-sari store business for over 15 years. She wants to extend the products she is selling and that is why she wants to borrow a loan of P50,000 to buy groceries and rice grain to sell. Tomasa believes that by selling additional products she will also gain a bigger income. She will use her income to provide for their daily basic needs and she will save some for any future needs.
