A loan of $500 helped working capital.

Juana Brigida's story

Juana Brígida Martínez S. is 41 years old, married, and has 2 children. She has been operating a grocery store for 10 years. When she started, she only had a small display case filled with cookies, bread, candy and pastries. Soon her customers wanted to find new products. With what little earnings she had, she bought more useful items and remodeled her shop because there wasn’t enough space. She then decided that her store be stocked with the most frequently used items.

The loan she is requesting will be used as working capital to buy candy, bread, natural sodas, juices and soft drinks. Juana hopes to open another store for her children to run.
