Casa Mas 2 Group's story

We are the second group of the association Casa Mas (ref. 50953) which has already benefited from a Kiva loan, which has just been repaid.  Basically, we are young boys and girls who want to work in food catering outside our village.  We have opted for creating a fast-food restaurant on the mainland in order to be able to help our families still back in the village of Carabane, where we live.  Just this business will be operated outside our village because the potential for financial returns can only be had in a place where many people come together.  Such a place is an eco-village (Elinkine) that is located on the mainland and that is moreover a fishing port.  This place is crowded with people who work there the entire season and who meet with difficulties in feeding themselves.  All of our group members have had training in the restaurant business in our tourism schools.

In this group: Lémou, Mariama , Alioune , Astou, Cheikh, Sophie
