A loan of $750 helped buy products to stock her business.

Reina's story

Reina belongs to the Our Lady of Guadalupe Communal Bank, Bellavista district, Bellavista province, San Martín department. She is married, 40 years old, and the mother to 3 grown children.

Upon needing to add to her family’s household income, she began a small business selling groceries all by herself with a loan for S/.300.00 soles. She was successful from the start because of the quality of her products, her attractive prices, and good customer service.

Today she continues this same business located in her own home, where her primary customers are her neighbors.

With this loan for S/.2,200.00 she will buy more products to stock her store such as kilos of rice and sugar, crates of eggs, personal care products and household cleaning products, soda pop, candy, and other products to keep her customers happy.

Today she is very happy with the work and service she provides and she is grateful to Manuela Ramos for supporting people such as herself who wish to work and get ahead. She hopes to continue on for a long time and help many families and women entrepreneurs.
