A loan helped to buy seeds so that she can expand her horticulture farming.

Ndusya's story

Ndusya is a single mother full of dreams and goals for her life, and she wants to get her family ahead with the sweat of her brow, so she started her farming business 10 years ago.

Ndusya is very hard-working and a go-getter. She hails from a remote village in the Nkubu area of Kenya. This area has some tough living conditions, and to survive, she had to have tough skin. But she has defied all the odds and has been engaged in farming for the past 10 years. Her primary sources of income are poultry, vegetables, crops, and animal farming. She also gets some income through a personal business.

Ndusya is content with the farming way of life. She is a very enterprising woman, and although she never had formal education or formal employment, she has always worked hard on her farm and has always been able to provide her children and family with a decent meal.

The Nkubu area has favorable conditions for horticulture farming, and that is why she is seeking a loan to buy seeds so that she can expand her horticulture farming. Because of the good roads, a good climate, and a good transportation network, she is sure that she will reap maximum profits and be able to increase her business.

Ndusya is very thankful in advance for your help and contribution. She is looking forward to your warm response.

This loan is special because:

It finances smallholder farmers to purchase dairy cows, chickens, cereals and farming equipment.
