A loan of $1,075 helped to buy firewood.

Afissétou's story

This lady lives in Kégué, a very busy outlying district of the city of Lomé. Since 2007, she has been in the business of selling firewood at the local market in her district. She acquires her supplies inland, from the villages of Sokodé, and she thus realizes a larger profit margin on her sales. She wants to buy more firewood to expand her stock. This is why she's requesting her first loan from WAGES. She is married and the mother of three children.
