A loan of $1,500 helped to buy tyres and paint to improve the vehicle with which he provides transportation services.

Cleotilde's story

Cleotilde is a 65-year-old married man who has two children. His wife earns a living as a housekeeper and his children provide transportation services. He did not have the opportunity to study because he had to go out to work from a very young age.

Cleotilde has earned a living in agriculture and livestock for many years, learning the trade from his father. He also provides transportation services when requested and his children help out with this work.

He has previously had a loan which he used to repair the mill with which he processed fodder crops and through hard work he managed to pay the loan back in full.

This new loan is needed to buy tyres and paint to improve the vehicle with which he provides transportation services.

His goals for a future are to pay off the loan on time and use the profits to buy a micro-bus and provide better transportation services.
