A loan of $550 helped to buy hair extensions, wigs, and other items.

Ayélé's story

This young woman left her studies to train as a hairstylist. In 2007, she opened her own beauty salon, which she named "Labora Coiffure." She also sells cosmetic products. She supplies herself at the grand market in Lomé. Wanting to resupply herself with cosmetic products, she is asking for a loan through WAGES (one of Kiva's field partners) to buy hair extensions, wigs, and other such articles. It is through this business that she is able to meet her own expenses.
