Nairar Sarantañani Group's story

The Nairar Sarantañani Association, whose name means We Will Go Forward, is found in the Alto Lima Center. It is maD. up of 13 members who speak mainly Aymara, a native langauge. They have small businesses and need the loan to increase their working capital. Some of them sell peanuts, tools, and groceries and the majority sell clothing (for example: jackets, head scarves, and other items) at different markets in the city of El Alto. The group's president is Maria Paz and she mentions that the group likes to get together to share ideas about how to improve their businesses and that they feel proud because many have started their businesses on their own due to the need to proviD. food, clothing and education to their children.
