A loan of $1,000 helped to buy a stove with a much larger griddle to make pupusas. The equipment will be a big help to her for having a more profitable business.

Julia Milagro's story

Julia currently lives with her husband. She's 32 years old and has no dependents, nor does she receive financial help from her family.

To be able to help her husband with the family expenses, she decided to have her own business, which is making pupusas to sell. She also offers her customers cosmetics and steel-plated jewelry, a trade she learned with her mother's help.

She's requesting the loan so she has the financial resources to be able to buy a stove with a much larger griddle to make pupusas. The equipment will be a big help to her for having a more profitable business and improving her production. With this she'll be able to serve her customers' needs in less time.

Her goals are to improve her lifestyle and to make good use of the loan so she can repay it as soon as possible.
