A loan of $575 helped to buy more cacao to sell.

Godfrey's story

Godfrey is 33 years old, married, and lives in Bundibugyo, Uganda. He has been a cacao farmer for the past six years, which has enabled him to pay school fees for his children and sustain his household. His personal dream is to build a solid house for his family and also grow his business by acquiring a large cacao shop in town. He is challenged by price fluctuations and the heavy rains that affect the drying of the cacao.

The purpose of this loan is to buy more cacao that he can sell to cocoa processing companies in order to achieve better earnings.
