A loan helped to pay for pregnancy complications.

Arturo's story

Arturo, age 21, lives with his wife, Karla, age 21, in the Distrito Federal. They have a two year old son.

Two months ago he received the happy news that he would be a father for the second time. However, his joy lasted a very short amount of time. His wife started to have difficulties, and the pregnancy had to be terminated because her life was at risk.

Due to the urgency of the situation, Arturo did not have enough resources for his wife's hospitalization. Therefore, he saw the need to request a loan to be able to pay for his life partner's hospitalization.

He hopes that Karla soon recovers and that life allows her to have a child later on.
