A loan of $675 helped purchase of fertilizer.

Percy's story

Percy is 34 years old and lives in his own house with his wife and his 3 children. He has been in the livestock business for the past 10 years. Every day he cleans, feeds, and treats his animals for parasites. He sells his animals in the livestock market, along with the milk produced by his cows. He also grows potatoes, corn, and other crops on his land that are native to his area. However, what intensifies his work the most is the cultivation of alfalfa to feed his animals. In the near future, Percy wants to have a bigger stable and improve the infrastructure so that he can raise more animals. This is his second loan with MFP. He feels very integrated and committed to the work at his community bank because everyone is organized and together they have overcome many obstacles. The loan that he is asking for will be used for the purchase of fertilizer to plant more alfalfa and to assure the feeding of his livestock.
