A loan helped to buy sugar, beans, rice, salt, snacks, oils and eggs.

Jorge's story

Jorge is a 55-year old man. He is happily married and during his marriage he has had 5 children, who are all adults and have their own families. He and his wife live in San Andrés Semetabaj, Sololá.

For more than 11 years he has worked buying and selling grocery items. It is one of the few stores that is well-stocked and for that reason his demand has increased a large percentage.

So, he sees the need to buy sugar, beans, rice, salt, snacks, oils and eggs to re-stock his store and, therefore, satisfy the needs of his customers. This is the reason that he has asked for the loan.
