A loan helped to purchase more cattle for reselling in the market.

Zarmina's story

It was hard for Zarmina to manage her household expenses with her husband's small income. Zarmina is a 40-year-old, married woman. She is a mother of five children. (She is shown here with her husband in the photo.)

Some years ago, Zarmina started her business selling animals in her community. Her husband fully supports and assists her with her work. Now, she has requested a Murabaha loan (a non-interest-bearing loan) of 45,000 PKR. She wants to use this loan to purchase more cattle for reselling in the market.

Zarmina has gained great confidence in the business as she has learnt how to deal with other individuals within the business, allowing her to feel empowered.

This loan is special because:

It provides financial services in some of the most volatile regions in Pakistan.
