Ang Nua 11 Group's story

Oanh is a 27-year-old Thai ethnic woman who is married and lives with her husband, her 9-year-old son and her 3-year-old daughter in a poor and remote village. She works hard in her farm to cover her family’s living expenses and her children’s tuition. Although she has to face a lot of difficulties in her life, she is still a positive person and actively participates in many activities of her village. Therefore, she puts lots of faith in her villagers and was elected as President of the Woman's Union of her village.

This time, Oanh has taken a loan from Anh Chi Em program to purchase a cow for raising, breeding, and selling. She will use the profit from this investment to reinvest in her farming.

Oanh dreams her family will have an abundant life. In the picture, she is standing first from the right.
