A loan helped to expand her tailoring enterprise by purchasing more cloth pieces.

Kamla's story

Kamla, 32, is a resident of Jaipur Rajasthan. She is married and lives here with her husband and two children.

Kamla wishes to develop her tailoring business where she can stitch garments for ladies and kids, such as salwar suits, Kurtis, frocks etc. for the local customers in her village.

For this, she requires sufficient capital and so she has requested a loan amount of INR 30,000 from Apani Sahkari Sewa Samiti, Milaap’s partner. This would enable her to purchase the raw materials required such as cloth pieces for this purpose and stitch dresses, frocks, skirts etc., and handle the household expenses as well as save for the future.

Kamla is grateful for this financial help, which can establish a better future for her family.

This loan is special because:

It provides business loans to women micro-entrepreneurs in Rajasthan.
