Ysabel's story

Ysabel is 37 years old and is the mother of a lovely family. She lives in of one of her relative's house with her 42-year-old husband Félix and their three children: Maribel is 12, Luis is 10, and Edwar is 6. What she desires most is to provide a worthy life for her family. She has a small craft stand at the Explanada Laguna Temporal (a place where there are markets in the city of Juliaca). Her stand is very crowded with her customers due to the fact that she is a very happy and charismatic vendor and always provides them will very cordial attention. Ysabel likes to talk to her customers and find out about what is happening in the market. She has been working this way for 10 years and what she likes least about her job is having to stay inside her store all day, without being able to go out on the street to carry out other activities. For the future, Ysabel hopes that her business grows and that she can increase the quantity of crafts that she makes in order to improve her income. She knows that the road to her goals is very long and requires sacrifice, but Ysabel is determined to confront it with her only goal being to give her children a better life. This is her fifth loan with MFP, and like she did with her previous loans, she desires to pay her fees on time since she knows that if she does not it will give her problems with her village bank, where she is very respected for how responsible she is. With the 1500 nuevos soles requested she will buy new materials to make more hand-woven crafts.
