Thèrèse's story

Z. Thèrèse was born around 1951 in Cotonou, economic capital of the Republic of Bénin. Thèrèse is married to Denon Timothée. Thèrèse is the mother of five children but she is still responsible for only two of these children. She sells various items (potash, mustard, kitchen salt, fresh tomatoes and tinned tomatoes, matches, dried fish, Maggi cubes, ground sesame, ground red pepper, ground spices: garlic, ginger, etc.) Thèrèse sells these products in the market of Avotrou, a working-class neighborhood of the city of Cotonou.

Thèrèse has already received several loans from ALIDé, and she always reimburses her loans without difficulty. To bolster her business and satisfy her clientele, Thèrèse is requesting another loan from ALIDé.
