A loan helped to buy a bicycle car in order to rent it out.

Rafael Enrique's story

Rafael is a shopkeeper from the capital. He has been doing this for 15 years, which also happens to be as long as he has lived in this city.

He is married, and the father of a grown daughter. Every day he works in his shop, which opens at 6 a.m. and runs daily until 7 p.m. He also has a bicycle car which generates additional income for him.

His customers can find a wide variety of products for the home in his shop: legumes, meats, vegetables, drinks, toiletries, and detergent, among others.

Currently, Rafael is seeking his first Kiva loan through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, to purchase a bicycle car in order to rent it out and generate additional income.

Please help support him with this loan!
