Rolando Antonio's story

Don Rolando Antonio E. is 53 years old and lives in the Laureles Sur neighborhood in Managua, capital city of Nicaragua. He and his wife have two children who are students. His wife helps him in the bakery where they have been working for 10 years, trying to get ahead financially.

Don Rolando began accepting loans granted through Kiva partner Afodenic. This is his ninth loan, which will be invested in the purchase of flour, sugar, yeast, butter and other products used to make bread to be sold daily in different neighborhoods in the city.

His plans are to be able to hire two bakers to increase the production and sales of bread. He also wants to buy another truck to facilitate transportation.
