A loan of $1,075 helped sale of "pagnes" and other fabrics.

Etonam's story

A resident of the Adidogomé neighborhood, this woman began selling "pagnes" (lengths of brightly colored African print cloth) and other fabrics in 2006. She sells her "pagnes" at the local market of Adidogomé and out of her home. Her customers are becoming more and more numerous, so she would like to better satisfy their needs by having a wide inventory. She is requesting a loan from WAGES to buy 20 lengths of "pagne" and a dozen fabrics.

As a single woman, she is in this business to be able to support herself.
