Diamy's Group's story

This 18-member group is part of a "bank villageois" established in December 2012. It includes members who live in the same village and have sales businesses.

Dado, at right in the photo, raising her arm, is the group's representative. She is 49 years old, married, and the mother of three sons and three daughters.

Her business is selling sugar, tea and flashlight batteries.

With the loan, she plans to buy two bags of sugar, a case of batteries and a box of tea.

The income will be used to increase her savings.
