Susan Bay Group's story

Fatmata is a thirty-two-year-old, married woman and a mother of three children ages seventeen, sixteen and twelve. She is a group leader, is often described as a very hardworking individual, and is representing her group of five members in the Susan Bay Group. Fatmata is shown in the middle of the picture.

Fatmata and her group members are requesting a loan in the total amount of SLL 5,000,000, of which she is entitled to SLL 1,000,000. With this amount, she is to pay for additional crates and bundles of drinks.

Fatmata believes she can better the lives of her family members by continuing to work with ARD. With the profits from this loan, she plans to continue saving for her children’s education. She thanks Kiva for its support.
