Umoja-Kivinje Group's story

Halima is in her early 40's, married, and has three school-going children. To support her family, She operates a food stall that is open daily from 6 am to 9 pm and is making a good profit.

This will be her first loan request to Kiva from Tujijenge Tanzania. Halima will use this loan to buy serving dishes, pay rent and increase her food inventory as a Mama Lishe (food vendor). She will share a portion of this loan with her fellow group members of "Umoja Kivinje" and they will be responsible for paying back the loan in full at maturity.
