A loan helped to buy 2 truckloads of sand, 15 bags of cement, and rebar, and to pay the labor to continue making tiles and bricks.

José Santos's story

José is 67 years old. He only managed to go to school through the second grade. He is married, and his wife works selling snack foods. Only his youngest child lives with them.

José works making bricks and cement tiles. He has many years of experience in this line of work. He learned it when he was a factory assistant. He goes to work by bus.

Thanks to his previous loan, he managed to invest in his business and is about to finish paying off his debt; he has paid back more than 85% in a very punctual manner. Now he is asking for a new loan to buy two truckloads of sand, fifteen bags of cement, and rebar, and also to pay for the labor to keep making tiles and bricks.

There is no doubt that the loans have had a positive influence in José’s life. He dreams of giving his youngest child an education, and of having a safer home.
