Va H. is 23 years old and sells used phones in a local market in Prey Veng province. Her business has been around for about three years and she makes $5 US every day, while her husband is a moto-taxi driver who typically makes $3 US every day. Va H. has one young child who is not attending school yet. Currently she is requesting a loan of $1000 US to make a new investment. She would like to purchase a computer to transfer music into cell phones. She sees this investment as an opportunity that will enable her to increase her daily income.
