A loan helped to purchase books, school supplies and a bicycle, and pay school fees for her children.

Lý's story

Mrs. Lý is 37 years old and is married with two children. Her children are learning in primary school and secondary school.

She lives and works in Thanh Hoa City, an urban area in Thanh Hoa province, with two dependents. Lý has a retail business selling dry food. Her work is not stable, so when her children start school, she doesn't have money to pay tuition fees.

The main hardship that she faces is lack of money to keep sending her children to school. She is requesting a loan to purchase books, school supplies and a bicycle, and pay school fees for her children.

In 2014, Lý joined Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution to improve her business.

With her business profit, Lý hopes for her family to be healthy and happy, for her children to do well in school, and to make enough money to provide for her kids.
