Djekafo Group's story

Bintou is a married woman and mother of 4 children, one of whom is in school. She is the one holding the sheep on a rope in the photo. She is 31 years old and her husband is a farmer. She lives in a rural area of Mali.

She has managed a sheep-raising business for 10 years with her husband. Bintou resupplies in her area and sells her animals there after a few months when the time is right for her interests. Her livestock business generates a profit of 50,000 FCFA per month and this sum allows her to help her husband in his goals for the family.

Bintou seeking help with RMCR to be able to buy a greater quantity of animals for her business. In the future, Bintou dreams of seeing her children's school tuition costs insured.
