Sartawisa Group's story

In the Alto Lima Community Center you will find the Sartawisa Community Association, which has been in existence for approximately 14 years. Its members have different businesses like selling food, neighborhood store, clothing store, weaving blankets, cosmetic sales, and tending telephone booths. They all guarantee that they will use the loan to buy raw materials or more merchandise.

Juana G. is one of the oldest members. She remembers joining the association 13 years ago when her sister-in-law invited her. She needed capital to start a business. She then started selling meals. With the passage of time, she decided to changes businesses. She now weaves blankets, which allows her to have greater income.
