Adwoa's story

Adwoa K. is 38 years old. She is married and has one son and two daughters. All are currently in junior high and primary schools. Adwoa lives with her husband and children in a rented apartment in a commercial town called Dwenase in the Western Region of Ghana. Dwenase is a suburb of Sefwi-Wiawso, the district capital. Adwoa's husband is an electrician, while she is a trader who sells plantains. She has sold her goods in nearby markets for the last 10 years.

Adwoa is requesting a loan to buy plantains in bulk. She currently buys her goods from nearby communities at affordable prices. She aspires to expand her business and pay for her children's education.
