Degoo De Carabane Group

A loan of $1,500 helped a member to buy utensils, seafood products, fruit, and vegetables.

Degoo De Carabane Group's story

We are a group of young women, along with a man, who are working in the commerce of food items, kitchen utensils, and the processing of seafood harvested from our eco-village. We compose one group in which each of us has a business that is different from the next. Each of us will use the loan in our respective domains to work and create revenues, which are going to help us to provide for our families and to pay for the schooling and the care of our children.

We live in an isolated area where we lack access to conventional loans. For this reason, we've come to requesting the granting of a loan from Kiva, so that we may work, as do many of our sisters.

In this group: Safiétou, Madeleine , Aissatou , Emma, Chimère
