Cristina is a member of the Yana Ñahui Village Bank. Yana Ñahui means "black eyes" in Quechua. Cristina is 57 years old and is the widowed mother of 11 children, 4 of whom live with her. Cristina runs a restaurant from a space she rents near various institutions. She works seven days a week.
