A loan of $325 helped purchase of "pagnes" and staple goods for resale.

Abra's story

This woman is a resident of the Djidjolé neighborhood which is an outlying district of the city of Lomé. She is married and the mother of 3 children. She earns her living selling "pagnes" (brightly colored lengths of African print cloth). She has recently added on the sale of staples. Her stock of "pagnes" is down, and at the same time, some of her stock of grocery items went bad. She wants to replenish her inventory and is asking WAGES for a loan to buy 15 lengths of "pagne" and various staple goods.
