A loan of $1,050 helped working capital.

Demecio Santiago's story

Demecio Santiago B. Barrea, 45, is raising two children who go to school. He has worked as a mechanic for over 22 years. He used to be a farmer, but he lost everything when he had a bad harvest. Then, he had an accident and had to be hospitalized to recover. He had to sell everything he had to be able to pay the medication costs. Nevertheless, Demecio did not stop fighting to get work. That was when he started to work with his brother who taught him everything about mechanics. He found that this would be a good business, and he decided to set up a shop at his home. The loan he is asking for is for working capital to buy replacement parts for motorcycles, cars, and bicycles. He will also buy more tools. His wish is to equip his shop with the necessary tools and the best service.
