A loan of $600 helped working capital.

Gilberto's story

Gilberto C. R., age 50, is married and has three dependent children. He makes his living buying and selling pigs. He started out selling hens. With the profits, he bought a pig that was affordable. He liked that business better, and it was more profitable.

He travels around buying pigs in the villages. The business is profitable and he worked hard to make it a success and put food on the table for his family. He wants the loan for working capital to buy pigs. His dream is to give his children an excellent education so that they don't have to face the difficulties that he experienced.
