Nyaung Zauk-2 (A) Village Group's story

Yesagyo Township is where Nyaung Zauk-2 (A) Village Group is located. The residents of this area work mainly in farming, raising livestock, and micro-commerce.

Pictured above are Zaw, Aye, Khin, Shwe and Wai. This loan will be used by some villagers to hire labor for planting and harvesting, and to purchase high-quality fertilizer that will boost their crop yields. This boost in crop yields will lead to increased crop sales, so that their income will increase.

Included in the photo is Zaw (first one from the right, in the picture). He is a 40-year-old farmer who has been blessed with two children. He will use his loan portion to buy fertilizer and more crop seeds, for the growth of crop production. Zaw is a very hard-working father, as he wants to improve his family's living conditions, to make progress, and to give his children the opportunity to study. Zaw’s wife operates a small trade business to generate additional income.
