Mariama's Group's story

This group is a part of a banc villageois created in June 2015 and brings together members who live in the same village and who run small businesses.

Mariama, who is to the right in the photo raising her hand, is the group representative. She is a 36-year-old mother of six girls and three boys. She runs a small business selling products such as rice, sugar, and tea. She opened a canteen at her home and plans to stock up with the loan by buying sugar, tea, rice, and bananas. Her goal is to help her husband with the expenses related to food.
