A loan of $600 helped purchase goods (rice, sugar, noodles, eggs, canned fish, toiletries).

Luz Angelica's story

Ms. Luz Angélica is a member of the “Las Nazarenas” Microfinance Institute. She lives in the Bellavista district of the department of San Martín. She is a 35-year-old married mother with 2 school age children, for whom she works so hard, who still depend on her.

Her enterprising character and the love she has for her family motivated her to start her own general store, which kept growing little by little. She started to gain experience in this field, making a name for herself and being well-loved by her customers. She currently has a fixed clientele who visit her shop everyday to purchase everything that a homemaker needs. She personally attends to her customers with joy and enthusiasm.
With this 1,800.00 PEN loan, she will purchase various products, such as: sacks of rice and sugar, packages of noodles, crates of milk, boxes of canned fish in a variety of brands, eggs, and toiletries so that she can keep providing the best customer service.

She hopes to convert her small shop into a minimarket, stating that she will achieve her goal because she is a woman who accomplishes whatever she sets out to do.
