Akou's story

Akou A. is a resident of the Bé-Plage quarter, a central quarter of the city of Lomé. She is a married mother of one child. She generates a living through her cloth-making and fabrics business, selling to tailors and dress-makers. The stock that she currently is insufficient to meet the demand of her clientele; therefore she is requesting from WAGES a loan to buy two rolls of poplin fabric and other fabrics. With the revenue from her business she plans to contribute to helping with the family’s expenses.
