A loan of $525 helped to increase stock in his shop.

Luís Jeremias's story

Luís, 38 years old, was born in the district of Boane, Maputo province. He studied at school until fifth grade, and then had to stop due to the civil war which Mozambique lived through for 16 years. He is married and the father of four children aged 7 to 14 years, all of whom are students. He lives in his own house and also supports his parents, who live with him.

He has been a merchant for over six years and owns his own business. He has no employees. He sells basic necessities, buying in bulk in the city of Maputo. His daily income varies between 500 MT and 700 MT.

His financial partner has always been Hluvuku, this is his third loan. With this loan of 14,000 MT, he plans to increase his stock of merchandise for greater diversification and, consequently, more sales.

His dream is to expand his business more. One of his priorities is the transformation of his stall into a shop.
