A loan of $1,000 helped increase merchandise.

Ruth's story

Ruth, 26, is a happy young woman who lives in her parents’ house. She wants to help them with the household expenses.

She sells gas. This business has helped her a lot in paying some of the family expenses and bringing them some comforts. She buys her merchandise, gas tanks, in Bolivia. She later takes them to sell in Juliaca. She has been in this business for nine years. What she likes most is selling. On the other hand, what she does not like is having to carry the heavy tanks. Nevertheless, she goes on in the hope of improving her life.

She longs to have a store where she could sell with more tranquility and comfort. She currently sells on foot.

This is Ruth’s fourth loan with MFP. She has a great desire to make her payments on time. She is much loved in her community bank because she puts a touch of joy in the meetings. She will use the 3,000 PEN to increase the number of gas tanks that she sells. This way she will improve her monthly income.
