A loan of $1,000 helped buy larger quanity of products to reduce transportation expenses.

Abelino's story

Abelino G. G. lives in La Paz. He is 47 years old and has a small ice cream business. Despite earning a daily income from his sales, he does not have a large profit margin because he has to spend money every week on transportation to keep his inventory stocked. Abelino is requesting this loan because he wants to purchase a larger quantity of products so he will be able to take advantage of when he has to travel to buy ice creams, since then he wouldn't have to return as often and can save on transportation costs. In this way he will benefit more economically from his sales.
